The design of the pen is aligned with the film goddess's tastes down to the smallest detail.

Her trademark ruby-red lips were the inspiration for the colour of the precious resin cap and barrel of this edition, creating a glamorous look with fittings coated in champagne gold.

The shape of this Special Edition is inspired by Marilyn Monroe's favourite high heels.

The clip is decorated with an akoya pearl, reminiscent of the akoya pearl necklace Marilyn wore.

The cone of the pen is decorated with diamonds, which is a reference to the song "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend".

In honour of Elizabeth Taylor, one of the most popular stars in Hollywood films during the 1950's, Montblanc created the Muses Elizabeth Taylor Special Edition. Her goddesslike beauty has been reflected in this luxurious writing instrument that has been crafted with special attention to detail.



The body is covered with a dark violet marbleised lacquer in hommage to Elizabeth Taylor’s legendary eyes, as well as her favourite colour, creating a contrast with the platinum-coated fittings.



The cap top is decorated with a Montblanc emblem in precious resin. The cone of the ballpoint pen recalls with its geometric engraving a typical jewellery pattern of the 1950s. Elizabeth Taylor’s passion for jewellery served as inspiration for the ring-shaped clip, which attracts attention with its shape.
