The Urushi artist, Wayo Shimamori has developed the ‘Irogasane Sabinuri’ technique to create the 88 pieces of each color worldwide.



This writing instrument is inspired by special spiritual concepts from ancient Japan.

New from Sailer: The Naginata King of Pens with specially designed nibs. Because of the extremely limited amount, only fifty pens are available worldwide, and three of them will be sold in the Netherlands.

The set contains the Naginata Togi in Gold Trim or Silver Trim with a diversion of special nibs. The pens are to be ordered separately and do not come in a set.

 

The special 21K solid gold nibs are designed by Mr. Nagahara. Other than normal pen nibs, he created nibs that extend in the end, resembling the shape of the Japanese Naginata Long Sword, allowing you an eccentric writing experience.

Naginata Fude de Mannen: This two-function nib can be used normally, giving intense calligraphic lines depending on the angle, and in reverse, giving fine lines in the process.

 

The Naginata Togi pens will have metal cap rings with the fine engraving: Special Nib. The rings on the cap have resin filling, made with the Cloissonné technique.

Sailor's factory in Kure, Hiroshima, where the Sailor Pen Company was founded, will be reconstructed and completed in autumn 2022. Some of the previous factory buildings were more than 70 years old. The trees on the side of the factory were also more than 60 years old. 



With the reconstruction of the factory, a new usage for the trees are found. Specifically, the wood is processed into the barrel in order to reuse the material and create extraordinary fountain pens.



The Commemorative Fountain Pen for Rebuilding Hiroshima Factory is a Limited Edition, with only 40 pieces available in Europe.

Traditionally stirred and served with ice in an old-fashioned glass and topped with a slice of orange, the cocktail was first mixed at Caffe Casani in Florence, by Count Camillo Negroni.
