Thanks to their long growth phase, the noble woods are extremely hard and resistant. Their individual grain, beautifully accentuated by the platinum-plated finishes, makes each pen unique.

A new edition for the wellknown Classic Wood collection by Graf von Faber-Castell. This time, GvFC has used a new woodtype for their collection: Macassar Ebony Wood. A characteristic from this wood type is that it has a dark color, with lighter brown tones. Due to the use of the natural material wood, every pen is different and there are not even two exact same pens. Each writing instrument from the Graf von Faber-Castell Classic Wood collection is unique!



The Graf von Faber-Castell Classic Wood Macassar Rollerball comes in a solid wooden case.

Rings in different sizes, created using delightfully contrasting materials, are the core elements of the Classic Anello (Italian for "ring") series. The barrel is made of several segments of Grenadilla wood or precious resin, between which fine, platinum-plated rings have been placed in filigree detail. Contrasting materials are combined to create a harmonious, timeless design that perfectly reflects the name of this Graf von Faber-Castell series - after all, the ring has always been a symbol of unity and eternal bond.

The barrel of the rollerball is made of ivory-coloured resin, with shining rings of platinum in between. The production process includes more then hundred steps, most of which are carried out by hand.
